Many people express the desire to be good allies to people of color, but don’t know where to start. Conversations about race and racism can be challenging, and often people feel they need more knowledge or a deeper understanding before they can begin. This workshop is an introduction to the role of whiteness in maintaining racism, and why white people need to be part of dismantling it. Without blame or shame, the workshop creates a safe place to explore this challenging issue.
Location: Lutheran Church of the Resurrection
