JOIN WITH GAPP to visit the new Holocaust and Humanity Center (HHE) at its new home in the Cincinnati Museum Center. It is divided into two galleries. The Holocaust Gallery tells the story of the Holocaust through the eyes and voices of survivors who arrived in Cincinnati through Union Terminal, ready to begin their lives anew. The Humanity Gallery identifies area Upstanders, people and organizations that have taken a stand against hate and injustice, and reached out to make someone’s life easier.
GAPP is honored to be included in the Humanity Gallery as an Upstander who took a stand against hate.
Our visit to HHE will begin at 11:00 A.M. with a free presentation by Al Miller, a Holocaust survivor, who will share his story of escaping in 1937, coming to the US in 1939, and returning to Europe to fight for his homeland’s freedom. Following his presentation, we will tour the new Holocaust and Humanity Center.
Cost: $10 for Museum admission.
