In this interactive, dynamic presentation Ignite Peace staff will help participants understand the basics of the US immigration system, share local stories, and discuss current events and challenges facing the immigrant community in Cincinnati. Participants will learn about the changes to our immigration system, how we’re organizing to protect each other, and how you can get involved!

Ignite Peace (formerly IJPC, Intercommunity Justice and Peace Center) coordinates the Immigrant Dignity Coalition, a network of 40+ organizations dedicated to informing, connecting, and mobilizing the Southwest Ohio / Northern Kentucky community to defend and protect the dignity of the immigrant and refugee community by working in partnership with one another. Through the work of the Immigrant Dignity Coalition, Ignite Peace has been coordinating Cincinnati’s Rapid Response Teams.
