The sciences of Biology and Genetics have found that race, as a way to break the human family into distinct groups with identifiable differences, does not exist. But the effects of this strongly-held belief touch many aspects of society, helping to shape life chances and opportunities.

Mr. Collins is a doctoral student of Sociology at Indiana University. During his years at McNicholas High School he was an active member of GAPP. He credits GAPP for encouraging his interest in Sociology, the study of social change.
